GET OUT..

In this film you see how the white people are the ones looking at blacks. There are many parts that displays much of racism. Though, it also shows of a different type of interest. Undoubtedly, a beneficial type of need. One that sets black people on much higher level than just slavery. I would say that they could be considered more of an asset that to the white people. As it was being explained to Chris of what their intentions were. You see, it is noted in their distinctions, both as humans with their differences. Where white people seem to lack a physical strength, in which it is seen in blacks. As it may be believed how black people may lack an the ability to put that to a good use. That is my opinion that I have concluded.

The sunken place, seems more of an experience of being held back. Being left behind, no matter how hard they try to move forward in life. Where they dont get a chance to have their voices heard. Especially, those unfortunate ones who live below their means. They fall down hardest economically, in ways where they get pushed towards having to settle. Rather than to be given the chance to prove other wise. These are the times people find themselves discouraged, or get pushed towards times of despair. That’s a never ending story, the vicious cycle that can’t seem to be broken. I can personally say to have fallen in a relate cycle. One that even after taken responsibility to correct, it’s as if it were never acknowledged. Being treated in such a way, that felt as if they were always looking for something to keep me down or held back. It took many years till I finally seen a change.

Vulnerability, definitely a weakness that should never be exposed at any time. It’s extremely important to remember, because someone is always preying to feed of it. Leaving one in place where we do not want to be. In which, Chris was bluntly disregarded for his safety. By not paying close attention and putting his life in jeopardy. That was the reason he ended up in the situation he was in, almost dead.

Camus The Plague

Being faced with the unprecedented challenges. Ones that have forced us to make drastic changes in our lives. Where quarantine has been enforced and social distancing is to be practiced. Something that in my years of living, has never taken place. From this, we can learn just how much our lives have been affected. From all the disasters in the past, whether caused from nature or man made, have left us with doubts and insecurities. Making it difficult for people to separate what’s real and what is not. This pandemic has more so changed our views and aspects of our cultural values. It’s been alleged, since nothing that would point to the virus being in action in our communities. Had only caused people to wonder, or at least that’s what I got from the news. Of the many people who gathered trying to create some type of movement trying to seize quarantine that failed. I imagine because of the financial crisis that this pandemic has caused, which can be understandable. But in the same sense, the damage being risked by disregarding the health of others is what’s crazy. That goes to show the difference in people, who takes life for granted. What we should really learn, is that we need to take life more serious.

My thoughts, in regard to the impact of climate change, our perception will always be affected. Due to whatever destruction that comes with it. No matter what the event may be, or level for that matter. Much will depend highly on what your beliefs and thoughts are. But for the most part, with this unfortunate event that has caused much damage it will take time to get back to how it once was. The same with businesses, I believe they will eventually go back in business. Although, It will take some time, till everything get back up and running. I would have to say that the whole aspect from the experience of the plague in general. How much of a difference can it really be from a plague to a virus? In my opinion, not much since they both tend to spread a harmful to a deadly disease if not contained on time. This is what more or less resonate to that of the current event that we are now dealing with.

The Eternal Recurrence of the Same

Nietzsche’s philosophy on eternal recurrence, he suggested that all life events and experiences that have passed, should be relived in a repeated motion. Or as he would put it, in finite times. The interpretation to his ideas though, seem to have been quite irrational. And even though, it has been viewed in different perspectives, his theories hold some relevance to the existing life. Personally, I couldn’t see myself agreeing to his ideas. I don’t see the point and it just doesn’t make sense to me. It’s as if he would be speaking truth but no logic. Had his theory been more a reality specifically, there wouldn’t be any objectives to reliving in recurrence. Such as in a new environment or society and with different people, above all in means for a better and successful chance at life.

“This life, as thou livest it at present, and hast lived it, though must live it once more, and also innumerable times, and there will be nothing in it, but every pain and every joy and every thought and every sight, and all the unspeakable small and great in thy life must come to thee again, and all in the same series and sequence—and similarly this spider and this moonlight among the trees, and similarly this moment, and i myself.” By Friedrich Nietzsche  The Gay Science Tags: eternal recurrence, eternity, life.

If I were given the opportunity to erase someone out of my life, I would take the chance. The thought of erasing a part of one’s life is an irrational response, yet I still believe everyone should be entitled to such option without judgement. I know that I needed to find within the reason that caused me to say that so freely. Coming to find that I’m still in love with my ex. Something I believed to have been over, and that the pain was the culprit. While I can understand why my decision would not be accepted in some cases. Being a situation where I’m supposed take control to let it go and move on. One thing I have learned, knowing that there will always be people who can and will deceive you, hurt you and rob you blindly without a thought, has taught me to hold on to love. Can’t say it will be easy, especially when one has always lived by a structure of morality, which helps us to redefine humanity positively, which make us better people. But to fall victim, is what encourages me to most to fight, will never again be. I can see this being the part of life that negates Nietzsche’s theories and ideas of eternal recurrence

In the Eternal Sunshine, the concept of the procedure was clearly to erase the memory of someone in particular. In the aftermath, it was discovered that the physical feeling is a much stronger and deeper state of feeling that can not be erased. That’s what the characters were feeling. In which trying to resolve conflicts between truth and happiness, would be difficult doing. But in this, much I have learned, to always handle situations in a straight forward manner even if it means peoples feeling getting hurt. That’s the sacrifice one must make for positive outcomes, no matter what it takes. In life the situations people experience and have endured them differently. Some more than others and I don’t believe it should be a duty for someone to have to remember. Every one should have the choice to remember as they want. Nietzsche is a philosopher and his responses would not be like my own. But rather more alike questions, on a higher level of positive wisdom or it, would just not be rational.

On Truth and Lie in the Non-moral Sense….

Friedrich Nietzsche, a German Philosopher who talks about life, that certainly had a way with words in the Philosophical world. In Nietzsche’s stories he went on to talking about life, about people and their aspects of how they perceived life itself. In one of his interpretations he was able to catch the attentions of many people. They looked up to him as he gave light into the many delicate subjects. With an essence the clarity enough for people to understand. And although that did not least to long, with his many theories, it was soon that that they started changing their directions away from him. When Nietzsche began talking about the world not having any higher power, and how he did not believe in the religious or political ways giving detailed diagnosis about it in many different ways and the different meanings. It was then that people begin to disagree with him and seen him in a different direction. He emphasized that nihilism was a form of pessimism and that it was a belief that everything in life was meaningless. So it was his different theories that were contradicting him so people couldn’t understand how he had gone from being some type of piece maker and kind who wanted for people to see life in a better perspective to becoming a non-believer in a condescending way such as sn anti-nihilism and could no longer be seen in the light.

“The destiny of man,” he said, “cannot be disentang1ed from the destiny of everything else in existence, past, present and future. We are a part of the whole, we exist in the whole. There is nothing which could judge, measure or condemn our being, for that would be to judge, measure and condemn the whole. But there is nothing outside of the whole The concept of God has hitherto made our existence a crime” (Nietzsche) Metaphorecly, one can see a translation with the perspective as to why Nietzsche would say that “we deny god as god” Based on people’s actions to reactions in todays world one can see that people dont have faith anymore. To say that god made our existence a crime, it’s possible for people to misconstrued the facts. By giving us the free will knowing there’s so much temptation. One can take it as being set for failure. Pulling away enough to deny responsabilities as in to denying god himself.

Nietzsche’s origin of language was one he argues that words and concepts never correspond to real things in themselves. According to him, language falsifies the world for it has no truth but a lie within itself. He explains that words are merely understood when connecting a metaphor with another metaphor. “You have your way. I have my way. As for the right way, the correct way, and the only way, it does not exist.” (Nietzsche) In seeing it through his eyes, it was essentially questionable for it did not hold any truth. As if we didn’t know any better, it wasn’t something we were born with but rather more a learning strategy that with time we learned in connection of a social and cultural aspect to communicate. I was said to being more of an opinion rather then facts and language was no different.

It was noted that Nietzsche did not seem to have an actual meaning for truth other then to offer the different tranlations in every aspects of it. Following with an argument as he speaks about how concepts are formed, and that even Science don’t have an explanation as to why nor does it have a meaning behind things that cannot be revealed . In conclusion, he explains of a value is a sceptic about the value of truth and a destroyer of morality.

Living a life as an artistically creating subject, why I would and would not like scenarios. I can picture myself living a very busy lifestyle, colorful and free. Always surrounded by many people, friends and family. Living with the notion of feeling free and always meeting new people somewhere out in the open world maybe like up in the mountains and not where its lonely but rather busy full of people. That was just figuratively speaking. That in real life such life style does not attract me. I have always been a people type person I get along with anyone. At this times I’m at an age where I am comfortable and at peace. So no I couldn’t say that it can help my situation.

Double Indemnity

Phyllis and Walter were not happy with their lifes, Phyllis did not want to be married to her husband. She wanted to have him killed so that she would be free from him. Walter was not happy with his life, looking for a client he met his wife and obviously fell for her but there was to much in between and he just couldn’t have her. In the end based on the outcome it was apparent they had different values and desires. Phyllis seemed to be unhappy in her marriage and wanted out and Walter found himself lusting for a married woman that obviously he could not have. In my opinion neither of them had any values. In this Film fate definitely played a huge role. One that was demonstrated in the end, after having done everything possible no matter what the cost was, having achieved their desires or so they thought, only to find that it was nothing close to what they really expected. As Walter said “I wanted the money and didn’t get it, I wanted her and I couldn’t get her either.”

In opinion, this film holds many like real life incidents. Cases where people in today’s century may have foud them selves dealing with or have had experiences with similar situations. The personality of each individual and their morals of life speaks volumes. And it’s apparent that things of that nature have never really changed in todays age. I have concluded this type of film with the way everything was happening and what took place, it is definitely what a nihilistic world looks like..

Sisyphus’s triumph on ongoing struggle..

Sisyphus story has a very interesting theory, it has been viewed for the different perspectives. In my opinion I can understand why some may see it as Sisyphus being ultimately happy can relate to what one’s life and what they may have been through in todays life.

According to Camus and his view in happiness and absurdity, giving his view and explained it in such a perspective way that one can only imagine Sisyphus of being happy. Based on the outcome that in the end, inspite of it all he accepted his fate. And standing up to the Gods rather then giving in shows that he had came to realize of how much he must have valued his life on earth, therefore it was all worth paying the price for. That’s my thought and opinion.

There are to many ways to battle absurdity and suicide should not be one of them. We the people should come to terms with an understanding of what ever our actions are in the real world can have a tremendous effect in both worlds. And being alive we hold a better chance at changing for the better.

“This world in itself is not reasonable, that is all that can be said” (MS, 21). Our efforts to know are driven by a nostalgia for unity, and there is an inescapable “hiatus between what we fancy we know and what we really know” (MS, 18).

This statement can be one of many that I can relate to. First and foremost, when in a relationships is when I = experienced many things with that ended up feeling unreasonable. So much that I started to feel like why bother, cause the more I tried the it was just not worth trying even trying.

“We must despair of ever reconstructing the familiar, calm surface which would give us peace of heart”
